CES locking cylinders and locks in Burj Khalifa, Dubai

On 4 January 2010, a modern-age wonder of the world was inaugurated.  At 828 metres, Burj Khalifa is the tallest man-made structure ever built – a huge tower with a hotel, shops, offices and exclusive residential units on the Persian Gulf.  Anyone living here  thinks big – also as regards security.  CES equipped the building with 1,600 locking cylinders for the interior doors.  The exclusive key was custom designed with the logo of the Burj Khalifa and is a prestigious identification of all hotel guests and residents.  The Gulf States generally swear by security engineering made in Velbert.  CES also supplied the locking systems for the six-star hotel Al Bustan Palace and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Oman and the Hotel Atlantis in Dubai, to name just a few examples.
