Award winning diploma thesis

On the occasion of the 31st VDI/VDEh-Forum on Maintenance held on 24 June 2010 in Hürth,

  • Dipl. Ing. Eugen Krebs, Technical University Dortmund

was honoured with the CARL-EDUARD-SCHULTE award for his excellent diploma thesis. The young engineer received the award and the certificate from the hands of Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Schnürch, Chairman of the Advisory Board of CES, as a representative of the donors, the shareholders of C. Ed. Schulte GmbH.

Since 1990, the CARL-EDUARD-SCHULTE foundation has been honouring outstanding achievements by young engineering and scientific professionals working on advanced manufacturing technologies, primarily in the fields of metal working and/or state-of-the art locking and security systems. The award ceremony also offers the young engineers a suitable platform for the public presentation of their thesis or research paper.

The award is tendered every year in cooperation with the Association of German Engineers (VDI) as trustee.  Applications for the Carl-Eduard-Schulte Award 2011 can be submitted until 31 March 2011.
