Access to healthcare

AccessOne for Hospitals and Care Homes

Safety and processes in everyday life
In the healthcare sector, access control involves far more than simply opening and closing doors. Every day, staff, patients, service providers and visitors move through areas with very different requirements in terms of security, accessibility and organisation. The AccessOne system helps hospitals and healthcare facilities to reliably protect sensitive areas, manage access rights transparently and securely integrate clinical processes into day-to-day operations.

Features for hospitals and care homes

AccessOne supports healthcare organisations with features that combine security, organisation and practicality in day-to-day operations.
Flexibility in existing buildingsOnline and offline in a single system
Security-critical doors can be controlled and monitored online. At the same time, many other doors can be integrated using offline components. This is particularly relevant for sprawling buildings with numerous internal areas and ongoing adjustments to hospital operations.
A locking mechanism for everyday useAccess and other applications
The same access medium can be used not only for access control, but also for other applications such as time and attendance recording, canteen payments or the collection of laundry. This simplifies day-to-day processes for staff in the hospital.
Organisation in the workplaceLockers and cupboard solutions
Electronic furniture locks extend access control to lockers and cupboards. Whether for fixed user allocation, flexible use or time-limited access, these solutions are suitable for staff lockers, changing rooms and other organisational cupboard applications.
Structured permissionsAccess rights, user roles and security levels
Permissions can be assigned in a structured manner using roles, time profiles and security levels. Care staff, doctors, administration, technical staff and external service providers can be granted appropriate permissions in line with their tasks and working hours. Changes remain traceable and can be managed centrally.
Controlled processesVisitor and External Contractor Management
Visitors can be registered in advance and granted time-limited access rights. External service providers can be managed through authorisations, induction training and defined access rights. This is particularly important when there are many different people coming and going in the building.
Operational safetyHigh availability in everyday life
Door controllers store relevant data locally and enable operations to continue even in the event of network failures. The system can optionally be upgraded to include server redundancy, which is important in environments where failures have an immediate impact on operations.
Act safelyTraceability and rapid response
Access events, status changes and user activities are logged. Media can be quickly blocked and access rights can be changed centrally. This supports secure processes and enables a rapid response to changes.
Part of the overall systemInterfaces with hospital-related systems
AccessOne is designed for integration. This includes links to HR systems, time and attendance systems, building management systems, laundry distribution systems and other operational systems. In this way, access control becomes part of an overarching organisational process.

Mechanics meets access control

Mechanics and electronics combined

The CES transponder clip
The transponder clip allows CES’s mechanical profile systems to be easily combined with CES’s electronic locking systems and the AccessOne access control system. This creates flexible hybrid solutions that combine mechanical security with electronic organisation. Existing locking systems can be expanded step by step and adapted to new requirements without any disruption to the system and with maximum planning reliability.
Would you like to find out more about AccessOne?

AccessOne combines online access control with mechatronic offline locking devices. Access authorisations are verified at update terminals and transferred to ID cards on a daily basis. The software supports operational processes, integrates third-party systems and can be flexibly tailored to your requirements.
