Great excitement at CES: the range of locking devices for the cloud-based CESentry locking system has been awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025. In the Building Technology category, the product family impressed the international jury of experts with its innovative design, high functionality and harmonious design language.

Every year, the Carl-Eduard-Schulte Foundation awards prizes for recent and outstanding Master’s theses in the field of production engineering and related disciplines, written by graduates of technical universities, universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany.

With the new product feature ‘system-independent locking devices and components’, CESentry is becoming even more practical. Security retailers will in future be able to stock CESentry locking devices without them being tied to a specific system and, where required, flexibly add them to an existing CESentry locking system.

In an anonymous survey, apprentices and dual-study students answered around 100 questions about training at CES. Among other things, they assessed the content of the training programme, the corporate culture, how young employees are treated, and future career prospects after completing their training.

With the CES Award, the VDI Düsseldorf recognises outstanding scientific work in the field of engineering. The award was presented on 20 May 2026 in Düsseldorf and comprises a certificate and a cheque for 1,500 euros.

The CESentry Gateway enhances the cloud-based CESentry electronic locking system with powerful online functions. Specialist partners and project managers benefit from greater convenience, reduced on-site effort and more flexible management of new and existing locking systems.

The latest software versions expand the range of functions and make day-to-day work with the AccessOne access control system easier.

CES is certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 27001. The certification has been valid since 16 December 2025 and covers the planning, development, provision and servicing of mechatronic systems for security and access control technology, including customised software as well as infrastructure and hosting services.
