A blend of mechanics and electronics

One key for two systems

Flexible for client projects

The CEShybrid key combines an electronic transponder and a mechanical key in a single locking medium. Specialist partners can use it to flexibly integrate mechanical and electronic doors into a single locking system. Less sensitive areas remain secured mechanically, whilst doors with restricted access are managed electronically. If necessary, the key serves as a mechanical fallback for electronic locks. This keeps the solution simple and straightforward.

Specialist partners can use the electronic transponder clip to upgrade mechanical locking systems to mechatronic systems. The clip is simply fitted onto the mechanical key without the need to modify the key.

The transponder clip is available in a range of colours. This makes it easier to distinguish between keys, user groups or areas. The back is black, whilst the body is available in red, yellow, green, blue, grey or black.

Existing staff ID cards can be integrated into AccessOne or CESentry, depending on the technology used. We would be happy to assess LEGIC- or MIFARE-based media during a consultation.

One medium for multiple applications

The CEShybrid key supports 13.56 MHz RFID technologies such as MIFARE DESFire EV3 and LEGIC advant, in accordance with ISO 14443 and ISO 15693. This allows access control, mechanical locking and other applications to be combined in a single access medium. Specialist partners can integrate customers’ own access media and incorporate applications such as time and attendance or canteen billing into the project.
