For specialist partners
New features in the CES online shop: the customer profile
We are delighted to present some important new features in the CES Shop for specialist retailers. These improvements have been designed to make your ordering processes more efficient and convenient. They apply to all our partners who have a customer profile (or several) and, for this purpose, key-cutting tools for keys and, where applicable, cylinders.
An overview of the changes
🆕 Customer profile with customer key cutter Do
you have your own key cutter for your CES customer profile? Or perhaps your own cylinder cutter? From 26 February 2026, you’ll be able to select your own cutter when placing orders via your customer profile.
New orders: If you
order a new locking system or lock set via your customer profile for which your customer key cutter has been authorised, you can select your customer key cutter as well as ‘CES’.
By clicking on the floppy disk icon next to the embosser, you can set this embosser as the default. Your embosser will then be automatically selected for every future new system order placed via your customer profile (this can, of course, be changed again). This saved default applies to your customer number and therefore to every user in your organisation who orders new systems via the CES webshop customer profile.
Reorders / Extensions If your embosser
has been used in a locking system or master key system within your customer profile, you can also select it for reorders and extensions. Here too, it can be saved as the default for future orders within the relevant system.
Order Quantity for Keys
There are key blanks in stock with customer engraving and others that are manufactured to order with customer engraving.
For the latter, there is a minimum order quantity of 50 keys / blanks with this engraving. This is also displayed when selecting the engraver.
For orders of fewer than 50 keys / blanks, the CES engraver must be selected.
Order summary
In the final tab of the ordering process (Details), you can see which engraving has been selected for the keys and cylinders. This allows you to check easily and clearly whether the correct selection has been made before submitting the order.
Future features / additions The following features are not
yet available with the update on 26 February 2026 but will be added later:
