Security retailers will in future be able to stock CESentry locking devices without them being tied to a specific system and, where required, flexibly add them to an existing CESentry locking system.
What's new?
CESentry locking devices can now be ordered not only with direct system integration but also as standalone units. This allows devices to be stored flexibly, deployed at short notice and added to an existing CESentry system in less than a minute.
For specialist partners, this means: greater flexibility in the warehouse, faster service call-outs and significantly reduced downtime for customers.

Two ordering options to suit different requirements
Option 1: CESentry locking device with system integration
With this option, the CESentry locking device is ordered directly for a specific CESentry system.
The advantage: All CESentry locking devices and media are already entered into the access control system’s backend during manufacture. This means they can be configured immediately. The specialist retailer then simply needs to assign the access authorisations.
Ideal for:
Projects where the system has already been finalised and particularly rapid commissioning is required.
Option 2: CESentry locking device without system integration
In this version, the CESentry locking device is manufactured without being linked to a specific CESentry locking system.
The advantage: the locking device can later be flexibly added to any existing CESentry system. This process takes less than a minute.
Ideal for:
stock management, service calls, refurbishments, replacements and short-notice customer requests.
Efficient replacement of individual components
This new product feature not only makes it easier to replace entire locking devices; individual CESentry components, such as the locking mechanism or the electronic module, can also be replaced with ease.
This is both efficient and sustainable: rather than replacing the entire locking device, only those components that are actually required are replaced. This reduces effort, material usage and service times.
Greater flexibility in warehousing, service and project work
