How long does the battery last in the electronic cylinder?

The exterior knob contains a CR2 lithium battery which is easy to replace and which enables more than 40,000 locking operations at an ambient temperature of 20 degrees, or has a standby service life of 4 years.

Electronic handle set
How long does the battery last in the electronic handle set?
The handle set contains two Energizer Ultimate Lithium 1.5 V AA batteries which enable more than 70,000 locking operations at an ambient temperature of 20 degrees, or have a service life of 4 years.

Your ideal way of programming depends on your requirements concerning the safety and convenience of your locking system.
Online Authorisations in the locking device, programming via radio network with Access-Points, also in real time
Offline: Authorisations in the locking device, programming with master media or RF-Stick and Netbook
V-NET: authorisations are programmed on the locking media.

Mechanical locking systems
How do I maintain my mechanical locking cylinders adequately?
To maintain a high functionality and long service life, mechanical locking cylinders should regularly (every 6 months) be treated with the CES care spray. Please do not use any other agents! Never lubricate with oil, graphite or agents containing resin!
The spray is available at the security and lock dealers, or you order it from us. Simply tell us the registration number of your locking cylinder. You find it on your key and on your security card.Simply order the CES care spray (100 ml bottle) by email: ordercenter@ces.eu
